Mandala Class

Took a Mandala Class at the Baum School on Saturday morning with my mom.

I think I smiled the whole time.

The result...

And the paper bead LOVE came out of the basement for February...

Liana and I made this last year. 

The letters are covered with paper beads we rolled from magazine pages.

A little kingdom

So I am working through the book Painted Pages by Sara Ahearn Bellemare and having a really good time playing in my new and improved art room (no longer an "office" - sounds too work-y). I have promised myself to spend some happy creative time in my art room every day and have been pretty faithful. Here are the results of some recent "playtimes":
