A little kingdom

So I am working through the book Painted Pages by Sara Ahearn Bellemare and having a really good time playing in my new and improved art room (no longer an "office" - sounds too work-y). I have promised myself to spend some happy creative time in my art room every day and have been pretty faithful. Here are the results of some recent "playtimes":

Art Breaks with the Painted Pages book

My Painted Pages book suggested taking close-ups of some of my art to use as inspiration, so I did...

This is the watercolor I did as I demoed watercolor techniques for my kids at school.

So the idea is to just zoom in on parts I like...

to discover little masterpieces.

Now I'm using these to inspire me when I have my "art breaks" after school
